Name a feeling or a current need · D10.18

Check in with what you need

You want a brief way to notice how things are going and decide whether to seek support.

Everyday practice

Try these steps

  1. Choose a private moment and ask: “What has felt difficult, manageable, or different lately?” Write a few words, or think through them.
  2. Ask: “What do I need more or less of right now?” Name one need without requiring yourself to solve it immediately.
  3. Choose a next step if one is useful: make a small adjustment, ask someone for support, or bring a question to an existing appointment.

An example

“I’m running out of energy before dinner. I want to ask whether we can share the evening chores differently.”

Reflect

Did the check-in help name a need, or would a conversation or a different approach fit better?

Next time

Choose whether and when to check in again. This is a reflection prompt, not a diagnosis or a symptom score.
