Adapt or restart a routine · S3.14
Adjust a routine using feedback
You have tried a routine and want to make it more workable.
Everyday practice
Try these steps
- Choose one recent attempt and describe what happened.
- Identify one part that was workable and one part that got in the way.
- Change one part of the routine for the next attempt.
An example
“The reminder worked, but I was on the bus. I will move it to a time when I am at home.”
Reflect
Did the change make the routine easier, harder, or no different?
Next time
Compare the next attempt before making another change.
