Plan access and support for participation · S11.16

Agree on what kind of support is welcome

Someone wants to help with a difficult activity and you need clear boundaries.

Everyday practice

Try these steps

  1. State whether you want practical help, company, listening, or help following an existing professional plan.
  2. Agree on what the person should avoid, including pressure, surprise challenges, or unwanted coaching.
  3. Review the arrangement after use and change or end it if it does not fit.

An example

Please help me check the appointment details; do not tell me to stay longer than I choose.
