Express feelings or needs through art · S4.12

Express a feeling with an optional gesture

You want a nonverbal way to describe an ordinary feeling.

Everyday practice

Try these steps

  1. Choose a feeling or experience you want to represent.
  2. Use a small comfortable gesture, drawing, or word that represents it to you.
  3. Describe the meaning if you wish, without expecting the feeling to leave your body.

An example

I draw a curved line to represent uncertainty instead of moving.
