Choose priorities and plan time · S2.3
Choose one priority
Several tasks are competing for your attention.
Everyday practice
Try these steps
- List up to three things asking for your attention.
- Choose one by considering its deadline, importance, and what you have energy for.
- Write the first action for that task and put the other tasks somewhere you can return to.
An example
“I have three errands. Collecting my prescription has a deadline, so I will check the opening hours first.”
Reflect
What helped you choose, and what still needs a place in your plan?
Next time
Check the list again after the first task, or if the situation changes.
