Choose priorities and plan time · S5.19

Name a priority when demands compete

Several demands are pressing, and you want a short way to orient your next decision.

Everyday practice

Try these steps

  1. Pause long enough to name the immediate demands without requiring yourself to relax.
  2. Choose one value or responsibility that needs attention in the next decision.
  3. State a next action and, if needed, a limit on what you cannot do at the same time.

An example

Accuracy matters for this form. I need to finish checking it before taking the next call.

Reflect

Did naming the priority help with the choice, even if the pressure remained?

Next time

Return to practical demands and support needs rather than expecting values reflection to remove stress.
